OBSERVING, UNDERSTANDING AND IMPLEMENTATION
Observation and Understanding
The pages of your Visual Study will require you to either:
1) Observe: Ask questions and record your personal observations during Ned’s workshops. AS2, IE2
2) Understand: Conduct individual research into other designers in the same field, including Ned and demonstrate your understanding of their work through the analysis and interpretation of personally selected designs. AS1
A combination of both observation and understanding are crucial for a successful Visual Study.
The pages of your Visual Study will require you to:
3) Implement: These pages will require you to complete and provide commentary on your weekly homework. PA1, PA3
REMEMBER!
1) Ensure you acknowledge all of your sources, both primary and secondary.
2) To utilise appropriate Visual Arts terminology (Elements and Principles) and,
3) The word limit is only 2000 words. Over 20 pages they only equates to 100 words per page. Use them wisely.
